Rachel - Our Brave Little Girl

It happened, every parents nightmare. The trip to the emergency room for stitches. Well, it was Rachel. We were at a friends birthday part and after an hour of fun in the water, Rachel slipped and hit her chin on a concret step. We rushed her to the ER to sit for four hours before they stiched her up. She was so great about the whole thing. I was so proud!!

Obviously, if you know me at all you know, I didn't watch them get put in. She got SEVEN stiches. I know, that is alot for a little girl. Besides the pain, Rachel had to endure me and David telling stories about our stiches...I'm not sure it helped but we thought they were good stories.

I'll get a picture up so you can see. We are still hoping they will be out before the first day of school next week.

Take me out to the ball game!

We went to the Ranger game with our friends Robbie and Melissa Thomas. We had a great time except that the Rangers couldn't even get one run...I'm a little sad for them.

And the fun part is that Mandi and Chris saw me and Melissa on TV. I'm not sure I've ever been on TV so that was cool.

Family Vacation - Sea World

We had a wonderful time on vacation. We drove to San Antiono with the Lovett's (John, Jessica & Jacob).
After driving late into the night we went to the hotel. On Friday we went to Schlitterbahn (I had to use a "waterproof camer" so I don't have those pictures yet.) and then on Saturday we went to Sea World. My favorite place on earth!!

We put all three kids in one stroller...we're smart I know.
Seriously, how cute is she??
Me and Rachel
Then we got to do the most amazing thing ever...it was called Dinner with Shamu. Okay, I'm sure your saying to yourself "what"...but stay with me. It was so great and for someone that LOVES Sea world with a capital L it was amazing.

I am not zoomed in, this was live and close up. Well worth the money!!!

After the Dinner with Shamu we visited the rest of Sea World.
Then we went into San Antonio on the river walk before heading home.

Then on the way home we got to stop off and visit some old friends Mani and Stephanie Mashhoon. We all had a great time and hated to leave them. It has been so long since we just got to hang out and laugh like when we were in our twenty's.
